There is a beautiful moon tonight
Questo video era inizialmente pensato all’interno di una video-installazione interattiva. Successivamente si è ritenuto più appropriato toglierlo, rendendo le due opere indipendenti ma collegate allo stesso tempo.
All’interno dell’installazione interattiva che porta lo stesso titolo, in mezzo ad una piccola stanza buia, è posizionato un tavolino con un telefono a ghiera nero, una lampada e due casse ai lati.
Dalle casse si sente provenire un paesaggio sonoro, lo stesso che funge da colonna sonora nel video qui presentato.
Non appena una persona entra nella stanza, la lampada si accende illuminando così il telefono, che comincia a suonare. Solo nel momento in cui lo spett-attore alza la cornetta del telefono, il dialogo comincia, ma si sentirà soltanto all’interno della cornetta.

This video was originally conceived as part of an interactive video installation.
It was later deemed more appropriate to remove it, making the two works independent yet still connected.
Within the interactive installation, which shares the same title, a small dark room contains a table with a black rotary phone, a lamp, and two speakers on either side.
From the speakers, a soundscape can be heard—the same one that serves as the soundtrack for the video presented here.
As soon as a person enters the room, the lamp turns on, illuminating the phone, which begins to ring.
Only when the spectator-performer picks up the receiver does the dialogue begin, but it can be heard exclusively through the handset.
